Product description

GREEN TECH Bio-based Penetrating and Lubricating Oil from the SOPPEC PRO TECH range is a high-performance product in DITYBAG packaging and can only be used with DITYBOX.

Formulated essentially with highly biodegradable plant-based fatty acid esters, Bio-based Penetrating and Lubricating Oil has a very low petroleum-based solvent content.

As a result, the product labelling is not required to feature regulatory hazard pictograms as per CLP regulations.

As the biodegradation rate as per the OECD301/B method is greater than 60%, the product can be described as "biodegradable", allowing the use of the "BIO" claim.

  

Properties

  • Very good water separation with a high level of protection against corrosion thanks to the residual film.
  • Dirt-penetrating and dissolving power.
  • Residual lubricating film of 3.5 microns remains after drying, allowing lubrication with a non-greasy appearance, which also provides good properties against wear and rust, as well as a high temperature resistance.

General recommendations for use

  • GREEN TECH Bio-based Penetrating and Lubricating Oil is used on clean and dry surfaces for optimal results.
  • It can be used either in the horizontal or vertical position.
  • It is non-flammable and does not require any special storage conditions, as DITYBAG is resistant to high and low temperatures and to moisture.
  • No degradation is observed during storage due to the high compatibility between DITYBAGs and the constituent substances of Bio-based Penetrating and Lubricating Oil.
  • Shelf-life before use: 2 years.
  • For use: With DITYBOX only (see instructions for use of DITYSPRAY concept).
  • Waste disposal: After it has been used in full, DITYBAG does not require specific waste disposal due to its almost full delivery rate (>97%) of unlabelled product (OIW waste).

DITYSPRAY

Bio-based Penetrating and Lubricating Oil in DITYBAG packaging is used with DITYBOX (product number 990000), part of the DITYSPRAY system. DITYSPRAY, an alternative to aerosol packaging, ideal for confined and/or at-risk working environments. The secure airtight DITYBOX receptacle accommodates DITYBAGs containing active product. The system operates with compressed air which is used to propel the product from the DITYBAG without the need for flammable propellant. This easy-to-use, refillable system can be reused up to 5000 times.
